Clergy

Father Sean McGrath
Fr. Sean McGrath was ordained a priest in 1991. He has served in various parishes in the Archdiocese of Denver. Before coming to St. Frances Cabrini he was Pastor of Guardian Angels Parish. He was also an instructor at St. John Vianney Seminary. Fr. Sean is also serving as a chaplain to the Denver Police and Fire Departments. Go Irish!!!!

Father Brady Wagner

Born in Carmel, Indiana on November 16, 1981, Fr. Brady has four sisters and one brother. He graduated from J. K. Mullen High School in Denver before graduating from the University of Colorado with a Business-Accounting Degree. After graduating from CU, Fr. Brady entered the Seminary and was ordained a Catholic Priest on May 21, 2011. Fr. Brady was appointed Parochial Vicar to St. Frances Cabrini Parish in Littleton on June 15, 2011. He is filled with awe at the privilege of becoming a priest and prays the Lord will give him the grace to live that mystery. Fr. Brady says, The only thing I can say is, Jesus, I trust you.

Deacon Paul Grimm
Deacon Paul Grimm (R)
Ordained in 1984, Paul has been at Cabrini since 1993, but has recently retired. He and his wife Mary have four grown children. He  serves as a Chaplain at Centura Littleton Adventist Hospital. Deacon Paul received his Master of Arts Degree in Pastoral Ministry/Pastoral Care from St. Thomas theological seminary in 1993. He and his wife Mary have been married over fifty years. In addition to the grown children, there are 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.



Deacon Chet Ubowski
Ordained for the Archdiocese of Denver in 1994, Deacon Chet has been at Cabrini since 2003. He and his wife Sandi have five children. In addition to his duties at St. Frances Cabrini, Deacon Chet serves as one of the Masters of Ceremonies for the Archdiocese of Denver, usually assigned to assist Archbishop Daniel Kucera, OSB, the retired archbishop of Dubuque, Iowa.

Deacon Witold Engel (R)
Ordained in 1999, Deacon Witold (now retired) and his wife Carmen (married for over 35 years) joined Cabrini in December 2005.  Deacon Witold was born in Stryj, Poland.  He, along with his two sisters and two brothers, was imprisoned as a child for five years in Siberia.  His family and he are also survivors who were imprisoned in both Auschwitz and Dachau.  In 1951, Deacon Witold immigrated from Germany to the United States.  He served in the United States Army for six years.  Deacon Witold previously served at Our Lady of Refuge Parish in Long Beach, CA.

Business Manager at St. Frances Cabrini since 1992, Joe has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is a Certified Public Accountant.



Trudy O'Connor, Administrative Assistant to the Pastor and Parochial Vicar / Social Ministries Director
Trudy O'Connor
Trudy has been in Administration and Business Management for 26 years. She was Director of Graduate Services in the medical education field before joining the staff in 1998. A parishioner since 1979, she and her husband Jerry have four grown children and four grandchildren.



Tamara Holmboe
Tamara was born and raised in the Denver area, She and her husband, Kirk, have been married for 32 years and have been parishioners at Cabrini since 1997. They have 3 grown children and four grandchildren. Tamara joined the staff at Saint Frances Cabrini in July 2000.

JoAnn Donnelly has been a parishioner since 1993 and joyfully joined the staff as the full time secretary in March of 2008. She is a graduate of Univ. of Denver in the hospitality industry and loves serving people. She has two children Chris and Shannon who are attending college in Denver. JoAnn also oversees the Welcome and Greeters Ministry and is very grateful to work with the most wonderful parishioners here at Saint Frances Cabrini.

Adult Faith Formation
Sherwood Owens, Director
Sherwood Owens holds a Doctorate in Ministry, a Master's in Marriage and Family Counseling and is a certified Spiritual Director. His department oversees Baptisms, Marriage preparation, RCIA, and adult education. Sherwood and his wife, Marianne, have two children, Jacqueline and Nicholas.


Community Life, Outreach & Assistance

Karen Crum Moved to the Denver area from Plano, TX. in 2005. Her husband Les is a Denver native and they are very happy to be near his parents after 22 years on the road.  Together they have two children and have are empty nesters.

Kristen Conrad is a graduate of Colorado State University in Ft. Collins. Her husband, Blake, is a Colorado native and is also a CSU graduate. They have three children and three dogs and enjoy teaching Religious Education classes together.

Kathy Seefriend, Director

Kathy Seefried Kathy has been in Religious Education for 25 years.She was the Director of Religious Education for 12 years in Orlando, Florida before moving to Colorado in 1996. She joined the staff at Cabrini as Director of Religious Education in July 1997. Kathy and Joe, our Business Manager, were married in May, 2000.


 


Worship and Music
Dan Wyatt, Director

Dan Wyatt has a Master of Arts in Sacred Music from Catholic University and has worked in music and liturgical ministry for 30 years. Before coming to Cabrini in 1990, Dan was the Director of the Office of Worship and Music for the Diocese of Peoria, Ill. He and his wife Judy have three children.




Youth Ministry
Shannon Gunning, Director
Shannon Gunning
joined the Youth Ministry team in August 2005 and has since become the Director of Youth Ministry for all high school and junior high school programs.  She has been a parishioner since 1996 and participated in the youth program here at Cabrini as a teenager.  Shannon received her bachelor's degree in Theology and Religious Education from Franciscan University.  Shannon strives to meet teens where they're at and offer them an alternative to their current culture; that alternative being the love and mercy of Jesus Christ.  Shannon's favorite saint is Saint Therese.  She loves coffee and celebrates every feast day with ice cream.

DeAnn Larson
Larson joined the staff in April 2006.  She and her family have been parishioners at Cabrini since 1994 and she volunteered as a Religious Education Catechist for 10 years.  She is married to Tony and all of their four children have participated in the Cabrini LIFE TEEN ministries.   DeAnn's favorite aspect of her job is the variety of responsibilities and the opportunity to minister to teens while she's assisting the youth office staff.

Tyler Tracey, Worship Leader/Asst. YM/A/V Coordinator/Webmaster
Tyler Tracey
A Canadian transplant, Tyler Tracey moved to Denver from Toronto in the summer of 2004. He spent time as a volunteer Core Team member for our Sr. High Program and in other volunteer roles for our youth ministries.  In the summer of 2007, Tyler was hired and became the youngest LIFETEEN Worship Leader in Cabrini history. Later Tyler became the coordinator for the Jr. High EDGE program and has since changed roles and is serving in a more technical role with sound and website. Tylers job gives him the opportunity to focus not only on his true love of worship and technology, but also on ministering to our young teens who he sees as desperate to hear Truth and desiring to have a more intimate relationship with Jesus.

Steve Nepil
joined the Youth Ministry team in August 2008 to specifically focus on the Teen Discipleship Groups.  He now coordinates the Jr. High EDGE program and assists with the Confirmation program.  Steve grew up in our parish and has returned after spending two years in the seminary and then graduating from Franciscan University with a  bachelor's degree in Theology and Philosophy.  Steve is currently working on his Masters in Theology at the Augustine Institute here in Denver.  His enthusiasm for the Catholic Faith and his love for Christ fuel his passion to bring the Good News to our teens here at Cabrini.
