Saint Frances Cabrini Parish offers many vibrant ministries.
Below is a brief description of each primary ministry area.
All of our ministries are tied to our Parish Mission which is "to EMBRACE our faith, to NOURISH our formation as Catholics and to SERVE in a community filled with the Holy Spirit."
Adult Faith Formation The Adult Faith Formation ministry is one that seeks to bring adults into an understanding of the faith, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, wrapped in a community of love and fellowship. In our office, we prepare: parents for the baptism of their child, couples for marriage, and all those who want to become Catholic.
We also offer numerous classes and meetings for everyone who desires a deeper understanding and lasting relationship with Christ and his Church. Some of the classes we offer include parenting courses, bible studies, church teachings, spiritual formation, etc.
It is our goal in Adult Faith Formation office to nurture and nourish the lives and hearts of everyone that comes to us.
Guardians of Angels The Guardians of Angels Ministry allows adults and youths the opportunity to serve God and our parish community by caring for our children so that parents and other parishioners can attend Mass and parish-sponsored events without distraction, and can attend Mass and other events with assurance that their children are well cared for in a safe, clean, and loving environment.
Community Life, Outreach and Assistance Our parish is activity engaged in our local and regional community. Cabrini offers assistance to those in need within our parish through our Basin and Towel Ministry. Outreach and assistance is also provided to a variety of local and regional operations. Small Faith Sharing Communities Throughout the parish there are small groups of individuals who gather to share their faith. As members of small faith-sharing communities, individuals have the opportunity to share the good news of Jesus personally through the witness of their lives. click for more details
Support Groups Cabrini offers a variety of support groups based on mutual needs and life changing experiences. Groups are welcoming and offer support, prayer and fellowship to those in need. click for more details
Religious Education Our Parish Religious Education program is designed to partner with our parents, as the primary educators of their children, and to offer a balance of catechesis and outreach opportunities. Our program supports the basic fundamentals of our faith utilizing lessons that integrate doctrine, prayer, morality, and catholic beliefs. In addition to the basic truths of our faith, our children experience first hand what it really means to be a people of service. click for more details
Social Ministry The Social Ministry provides a variety of special interest groups, activies, and events. Participating in one or more of our groups is a great way to meet people, share common hobbies or interests, and to get involved in community events. click for more details
Worship and Music The Office of Worship and Music oversees the worship life of the parish. It evaluates and reviews policies and guidelines related to liturgy, prepares the annual liturgy and music budgets, plans for and implements important changes in parish worship, and coordinates all liturgical ministries. click for more details
